Privacy policy

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, mobile number and shipping address. When you join our mailing list we collect your email address. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or netbanking credentials. Payments are processed by Razorpay on their own systems. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, and the method used.

Why we collect it

To take payment, pack and deliver your order, contact you about that order, handle returns, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and — only if you asked for it — send you marketing email.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Razorpay Software Private Limited), our courier partners, our hosting and database providers, and our accountants. We do not sell your personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 8 years as required for tax purposes. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@thodadesi.com. We respond within 30 days. Data we are legally required to retain — invoices, for instance — cannot be deleted on request.

Cookies

This site stores your bag in your browser’s local storage so it survives a refresh. Razorpay sets its own cookies during payment. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Order data is stored in an access-controlled database that is not reachable from your browser. No system is perfect, and we make no absolute guarantee against every possible breach.
